Program Manager with Planet Water Foundation
Planet Water Foundation (PWF) is a US based, non-profit organization focusing on bringing clean, safe water to disadvantaged communities in the developing world through the installation of water purification systems. Our work is focused on schools and rural villages where access to clean water is either non-existent or very limited.
PWF is looking for applicants to fill the position of Program Manager, Cambodia. This position, based in Siem Reap.
Location: Siem Reap
Duties
- Oversees and manages all in-country program/project deployment activities for PWF
- Project identification: Works with partner organizations to identify new project recipients
- Project support: Acquires technical, operating, and maintenance knowledge of the PWF solution and provides training and technical support to partner organizations implementing projects
- Project verification: Verifies the successful completion of projects
- Project monitoring: Monitors the ongoing condition of projects post-deployment
- Establishes and manages in-country partner relationships – i.e. distributors (stockists) and installers
- Facilitates the localization (sourcing) of select system components
- Defines and deploys sustainability models appropriate for local communities
- Work in cooperation with the PWF Management on country-level program planning
- Represents PWF and interacts with partners including government, and national / international NPOs
Requirements
- University graduate
- At least 5 years working experience with NGOs with a successful record in managing an NGO program/project portfolio
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, analytical skills, negotiation skills, and leadership skills
- Computer literate including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Self motivated, results oriented, and assertive
