Senior Legal Assistant - Legal Assistant with Legal Aid of Cambodia “LAC”
ABOUT COMPANY:
Legal Aid of Cambodia “LAC” is a non-governmental organization with mission to provide quality legal aid, legal and human rights education outreach and advocate to the poor in Cambodia, in order to ensure access to justice, promote respect of law, human rights, advance legal and judicial reform.
MAÂT, one of the Khmer Rough Tribunal specialized projects, the project of legal representation of the civil parties before the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC). The goal of MAÂT project is to offer to the victims of the Khmer Rouge regime the best defense of their rights and interests; with legal representation of the civil parties, who are victims of religious persecutions as well as of other crimes, in case 002; and the development / improvement of the competences of the lawyers and jurists working on the project.
Legal Aid of Cambodia, MAÂT Project, is seeking Cambodian applicants (preferably French speaking) for the following positions:
- Senior Legal Assistant 1 (One) Post
- Legal Assistant 2 (Two) Post
