Payroll Officer

Job Description  
 Now TRR is seeking for a dynamic and highly motivated  individual to fill the position of Payroll  Officer. The primary  role of this position is to prepare  and assist in the preparation and payment of wages and salaries and maintenance of related records, in a timely manner and in line with relevant taxation, legislative and audit requirements
of the Toll Royal Railway.

KEY OUTCOMES/ACCOUNTABILITIES  
  - Receive  and review all payroll  forms prior to data entry to ensure that forms are processed accurately  
  - Input data in an accurate and timely manner to meet defined deadlines
  - Check and approve pending payroll  transactions  
  - Reconcile  payroll, payroll tax, insurance
and superannuation payments and authorised payroll
deductions  
  - Respond to enquiries from staff regarding personnel and payroll  matters, in a prompt and confidential manner
  - Ensure that all employee records are maintained and the outputs of each pay period are correctly filed
  - Provide reports to management as required to satisfy the payroll related information requests of the department  
  - Assist with training and mentoring new payroll staff

  - Maintaining a high degree of accuracy when processing  large volumes of data
  - Ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with awards, agreements, government policy and procedure, and all other legislative requirements  
 
Jobs Requirement
  - Male or female accounting/finance  graduate  or related  field
  - Good English  in speaking,  listening,  reading  and writing 

  - Minimum 2 years experience in payroll
  - Computer  literate  and experience  with accounting
software
  - Demonstrate  organizational  skills and highly motivated  
  - Ability  to maintain  trust and commitment  to the tasks
  - Strong interpersonal  and communication skill
  - Strong Analytical  Thinking  and Problem Solving Skill
  - Technical/occupational/professional knowledge
and practical experience  
  - Honest, hardworking, reliable  and trustworthy  
  - Able to work independently
  - Willing  to work under pressure
