HYC is now seeking an experienced and motivated individual who can lead our diverse team to grow our businesses for the position below.
 
Chief Executive Officer (Phnom Penh, Either Cambodian or Foreigner)
 
Reporting to the Chairman, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for managing all aspects of HYC in Cambodia.  The CEO should ensure sound operational management achieving both efficiency and effective controls.  A focus on continuous improvement and on going people development is also a key to the role.  
 
Responsibilities
 
  - Develop and execute a suitable business plan that is congruent with the strategy and vision of HYC.
  - Provide overall business leadership support, proactively follow-up, manage and respond to Chairman.
  - Perform budgeting/ forecasting - co-ordination, prepare and submit timely and accurate business plans, strategic plans, operating and capital expenditure budgets.
  - Monitor and manage performance against total operating expense plan via effective planning and cost management.
  - Establish strong relationships with all HYC businesses and stakeholders to deliver high level of service excellence.
  - Communicate with key stakeholders to identify appropriate opportunities for improved service quality and developing strategies to implement.
  - Commend to HR to implement performance management system, ensure measurement and reporting of management KPIs for all staff.
  - Deliver effective systems administration and support to ensure the operations run smoothly on a day to day basis
  - Proactively improve the team by ensuring all individuals are appropriately skilled to undertake their existing roles and provide opportunities for people to develop further.
  - Actively embrace and demonstrate commitment to the HYC Values and aspirations.
 
Requirements
  - At least 20 years of solid management experienced along with a Master Degree in Management or business related field.
  - Effective and well-rounded people and business management skills, and experience in leading and developing a diverse team.
  - Superior ability to quickly diagnose, develop alternatives and solve problems using a flexible approach.
  - Sound analytical skills, with ability to identify when data and analysis is materially incorrect and apply solutions.
  - Strong communication and negotiating skills combined with the ability to deal with government officials and all seniority levels within the line of business.
  - Demonstrated experience in selecting, managing and developing a team, and the ability to lead by example.
  - Self motivated, self starter, demonstrated initiative and a strong desire to improve.
  - Assertiveness, to ensure that opportunities for economies and improved financial performance are adopted.
  - Excellent written and oral communication, planning, problem solving and organizing skills.
  - Computer literacy.
