Our Cambodia Office is seeking for one (01) qualified Cambodian national to fill vacant position of Intern for Water Sanitation and Hygiene Program (WASH), which is based in Phnom Penh.

I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To assist WASH Program Manager in implementing the School Safe Water Project and general support activities in WASH program in order to achieve WASH standards and World Vision Ministry.
 
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assist WASH Program Manager and Project facilitator to collect data and inform community, school and health center about the School Safe Water project
  2. Assist WASH Manager and Project facilitator to process CARD form, dibbing document, preparing logistics, typing documents and other administration work
  3. Assist WASH Manager and Project facilitator in organizing meeting and workshop such arranging room, photocopy, make an appointment and other administration work.
  4. To assist Village Health Volunteer (VHV), Health Center Staff (HC), schoolteachers to conduct the awareness on “PUR sachet processing” and “safe water use” in target villages, schools and health centers.
  5. To monitor and record the PUR sachet distribution activities and assist Project facilitator to set up a proper distribution sites
  6. Count and check all PUR sachet are safe, accurate amount and good quality before sign to receive PUR sachets
  7. Report about PUR sachet balance, loss, shortage and issues to Project facilitator
  8. Check thumb prints and beneficiaries list are properly recorded after the distribution of PUR sachets
  9. File in order of project documents to ensure all document are easily access to.
  10. Other task as required by WASH Manager or Project facilitator
 
III. REQUIREMENTS
 
  - Student in year four or fresh university student (who just graduated) in the field of rural development or environmental science.
  - Knowledge in logistic, water treatment, rural health care as an advantage.
  - Good interpersonal and communications skills
  - Ability to speak, read and write English language is an advantage
  - Knowledge or previous experience in working with the rural poor peoples, but not necessary
  - Basic computer knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel
  - Be aware of and committed to the Vision, Mission and Core Values of World Vision
  - Be able to travel to and stay in the remote area.
