Cambodian NTFP Development Organization (CANDO) is a local Cambodian non-governmental organization (NGO) established in June 2006. CANDO strives to improve livelihoods through conservation and socio-economic development. Marginalized communities, especially indigenous people and the poorest are benefiting from CANDO’s sustainable community development services. CANDO has been supporting its beneficiaries on enterprise development, vocational skill training and product development, market access support, savings and microcredit service, sustainable non-timber forest management and gender mainstreaming in Ratanakiri province.

With support and cooperation from Broederlijk Delen-BD, Trocaire, AECID and Peace and Development-PyD, CANDO is looking for one qualified Marketing Officer-MO based in Phnom Penh with travels to provinces. The Marketing Officer (MO) is responsible for selling and marketing community products, especially handicrafts.

Responsibilities
  + Ensure market access for community products, especially handicrafts.
  + Conduct market surveys
  + Recommend new product design and development.
  + Supervising sales of community products, especially handicrafts.
  + Organizing marketing events or campaigns.
  + Conduct promotions of community products, especially handicrafts.
  + Supervise products orders and product delivery with community enterprises and partners.
  + Prepare business plan.
  + Facilitating marketing team.
  + Prepare business reports on time and regularly.
  + Communicate with customers, buyers and marketing partners.
  + Working with community enterprises on marketing operation.

Requirements
  + At least bachelor degree of business administration with specialization in marketing.
  + At least one year experiences in sale and marketing with NGOs or companies.
  + Can communicate in English, both written and spoken.
  + Basic computer applications (Ms. Word, Excel)..
  + Self-starter and team player.
  + Be open-minded and willing to learn.
  + Be highly responsible, and trustworthy.
  + Good interpersonal and communication skills.
