PRASAC MFI, Ltd. is a microfinance institution, which is providing sustainable financial services as loan, savings, and money transfer for nationwide 24 provinces and city of Cambodia. PRASAC MFI is currently seeking for the qualified Cambodian candidates to fill the position as below:


POSITION: Oracle Database Administration Officer, 01 Position REPORT TO: Core Banking Unit Manager
JOB LOCATION: Head Office, Phnom Penh DEADLINE: January 25, 2012 at 4: 00 PM.

Duties
    
CamboTEK
• To manage 24/7 oracle database instances in live production and testing environment.
• To install and upgrade Oracle Database and Oracle Application Server
• To tune/configure database environment to ensure that running in maximum performance on installed hardware
• To help trouble-shoot on oracle database/ application recovery if any crash/failure occurred
• To prepare disaster recovery database instances by using oracle data guard, streaming, etc
• To prepare RMAN/hot backup/export or import dump file script
• To prepare testing/training environment
• To work with oracle support on trouble of database or application server
• To develop and update Linux shell script
• To demonstrate responsive and proactive communication to succinctly and directly summarize and document issues, projects, protocols and processes including regular submission of clear, standardized reports to management and peers
• To prepare database procedures and related documentation

Requirements
    
• Graduated BSc in IT/MIS
• Hold certification in Oracle 10g or 11g
• Minimum two years working experience as an Oracle DBA in an enterprise environment
• Good knowledge of RMAN, procedures, backup processes, procedures, broad range of technical knowledge, system architectures, networks, storage, disaster recovery, pertains to databases UNIX, Linux and SAN environments
• Good ability to create, analyze and trouble-shoot queries
• Good ability to provide 7x24 on call support
• Fluent in English
• Good integrity, positive attitude, helpful, high commitment, competence and motivation
• Willing to travel to provinces
