Smart International Consulting provides investment support services to international investors and capital raising services to local companies in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. We are looking for qualified, experienced and driven individuals to join our consultant team. Currently, we are seeking to recruit: Legal Advisor.


Duties

1. Provide a review of the legislation and regulations governing road transport in Cambodia.
2. Provide an opinion or identify proposed new legislation regulations or amendments to existing ones that could improve road safety and improve the management of road transport.
3. Prepare new draft legislation, regulations or amendments to them in English and Khmer.
4. Ensure that proposed new legislation and regulations, frameworks or regimes are consistent with the laws of Cambodia or that they are workable within the context of the laws of Cambodia.
5. Provide legal advice related to the restructuring plan.

Cambodian lawyer, authorized to practice law in Cambodia. He/She must demonstrate experience in providing legal advice to international clients. The Advisor will have experience in drafting Government legislation and regulations and in providing legal opinions on proposed legislation or regulations on to the Government. The specialist should have a good background in Cambodian Transport and Labor Law.
