Smart International Consulting provides investment support services to international investors and capital raising services to local companies in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. We are looking for qualified, experienced and driven individuals to join our consultant team. Currently, we are seeking to recruit: Road Safety Specialist


Duties

1. Analyze statistics related to road safety in Cambodia.

2. Analyze regulations, procedures and responsibilities currently in place for the management and enforcement of road safety in Cambodia.
3. Analyze the issues affecting the management and enforcement of road safety and develop recommendations on how it can be improved.
4. Develop recommendations to assist in improving , in the coordination, management and enforcement of road safety.
5. Assist the project team in developing the Restructuring Plan and the Capacity Development Strategy.
6. Develop proposals for new laws, regulations or regimes (or modifications to existing ones) that would assist in improving the safety of road transport.

Requirements
    
- Road Safety Specialist will hold a university degree in Engineering.
- The candidate must demonstrate at least 5 years of project related experience in the field of traffic management and/or in the design and implementation of road transport safety systems or facilities in Cambodia.
- The Road Safety Specialist should have a good understanding of road safety policies and regulations in Cambodia and demonstrate experience in developing road safety regulations.
